Bill Bethurum

Bill Bethurum began playing footbag in 1979 and quickly became part of the sport’s touring and performance culture. He was a National Hacky Sack Association Tour Team member from 1982 to 1983, a 1984 Team Hack member, and part of more than 500 professional footbag performances, including NHSA touring and World Footbag Association school tours from 1984 to 1986. His tour-team partners included Scott Cleere and Jeff Johnson, and he also helped co-direct the Intermountain Footbag Championships. On the competitive side, he was a 1986 World Team Footbag Freestyle Champion, a 1986 Intermountain Team Footbag Freestyle Champion, and runner-up at the 1986 Western National Indoor Team Footbag Freestyle Championships.
