Constance Constable

Constance Constable first saw people kicking a small denim beanbag at Eastern Washington University in 1978. It seemed like a silly thing to do, she recalls, and at first it was frustrating, but it didn't take long for her to get hooked.

Constance didn't learn about technique, form, freestyle, and net until 1983. By that time, she had some bad habits to overcome, but she was excited and motivated to become a competitor. Since then. footbag has brought her joy, laughter, fitness, camaraderie, and assorted life lessons.

Her place in footbag history is also written in the record books: she holds the official women’s singles consecutive record, and together with Tricia George she set the official women’s doubles and women’s doubles one-pass records.
