Geneviève Bousquet
Geneviève Bousquet is a multiple-time World Champion and is considered one of the greatest Footbag Net players of all time. Her run in the sport inspired numerous generations of players around the world for many decades.
Geneviève began her footbag career in 1995 at the age of 15. She joined the Akiquébec Footbag Club in Montréal and learned to play from her friend Pierre-Jacques Daigle, who encouraged her to practice Footbag Net. She rose through the ranks over the following years, spending her summers playing in the park with her friends and traveling to tournaments all over the world.
She first competed in Intermediate Footbag Net in the mid-90s before advancing to Open/professional-level competition in the late 90s.
Bousquet won numerous footbag net competitions over the years. This includes the following;

Geneviève also won many tournaments in Canada, the United States, and Europe. She placed top 3 and top 8 in almost every tournament she competed in as well.
For her outstanding contributions to the sport, Geneviève Bousquet was inducted into the Footbag Hall of Fame in 2017 at the World Footbag Championships in Portland, Oregon.
