Jim Fitzgerald

Jim Fitzgerald, known to generations of players as “Toes,” was one of the most important footbag makers and promoters in the sport’s history. He started playing in 1977, founded the long-running Free F.L.O.E. club in 1982, and in 1983 co-founded Flying Clipper, a company whose bags became central to modern freestyle (preferred by top players over Hacky Sack brand footbags).

Toes was also a 1984 World Team Freestyle champion.
