Jody Badger Welch

Jody (Jolene) Badger Welch was one of the most accomplished women’s net players the sport has ever produced, a true legend. After starting footbag in 1986, she built a remarkable record that included Women’s Overall world titles, seven Women’s Singles Net world championships, eleven Women’s Doubles Net world championships, seven Mixed Doubles Net world championships, a Women’s Singles Freestyle world title, and multiple distance one-pass and timed consecutive titles. She was also a fierce competitor whose name stood for sustained excellence across many years. Now she can be found with the Footbag Lovers of Portland having fun with old-school free-flow kicking.
