Sam Conlon

Sam Conlon was one of the smoothest and most successful freestyle players in the sport’s history. She won more than twenty World Championship titles, including four consecutive Women’s Singles Freestyle world championships, and became known as both a top competitor and a worldwide teacher and demonstrator. Her influence extended beyond medals: later players remembered her style, her teaching, and the way she represented the sport generally, a true legend. The hallmark of a top pro is to make difficult tricks look easy, and Sam excelled at that.
