Cheryl Aubin Hughes
Cheryl Aubin Hughes was an original NHSA member and the first NHSA National Women’s Singles Net Champion in 1982. She was one of the first generation of women who helped establish footbag as a serious competitive sport, and her leadership extended well beyond competition. She was the first woman to organize her own footbag tournament, alongside her sister Shannon, and the first woman to tour Europe in support of footbag. Her Hall of Fame legacy combines strong play, early promotion, and important leadership for women in the sport.
