Walt Mason

Walt Mason was an early pioneer of the Hacky Sack touring years. He came into footbag after learning that it was a valuable conditioning exercise for baseball players, and he brought the background of a college All-American baseball player to the new sport. Mason helped carry the game through the early tour-team era and was part of the generation that translated footbag’s appeal into structured teaching and public demonstrations.
